The task set in 1995 to transform over 200 square miles of farmland into forest in the middle of England has got to be one of the UK’s most ambitious environmental projects. With our offices being in Leicestershire and South Derbyshire we could literally see it growing around us. So we were very excited when we were approached to review the visual identity of The National Forest, and go on to design their annual report and corporate literature.

The National Forest Company leads the creation of The National Forest, a new, wooded landscape for the nation across 200 square miles of central England. The National Forest Company was established by Government in April 1995. It is a charity and Non-Profit Institution within the Public Sector, sponsored by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
