New packaging for the UK’s favourite garden brand

Gardman Crest challenged us to rebrand and redesign the packaging for the Gardman core range of gardening essentials. The existing packaging was seen as outdated and lacked impact on shelf. In less than 6 weeks, we created a design system to colour co-ordinate each sector of the range – the design system works across a wide range of packaging formats and is applied to swing tags, printed boxes and point of sale material.

The range needed a strong own brand strategy that clearly communicates the aspiration of Gardman to become the industry’s most trusted supplier once more.

The 20 year old brand was showing signs of fatigue. Think Plus Ink were tasked to give the brand a comprehensive makeover to maintain the competitive edge.

For 2020, we gave the brand a complete visual overhaul to give it even more appeal to style-conscious Generation X consumers who have time and money to invest in enhancing their outdoor living spaces.

The upgrade goes across branding, packaging and point of sale, plus the new, beautiful lifestyle imagery which is designed to inspire and excite shoppers.
